Our promise

Affiliate relationships never influence what we tell you to do. In this industry that promise has a specific and important consequence: most people do not need a paid formation service at all. Filing directly with your state is usually cheaper and not much harder, and being your own registered agent is legal in every state provided you meet the requirements. We say that plainly on the pages where it is true, even though the commission sits on the other option.
